Ministries- Family
Our mission is to develop and sustain a worldwide intergenerational, family-oriented community that works together to provide community-based programs, services, and resources that nurture the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical needs of our children, youth, and families as well as the inner child of every person in the organization.
By dictionary definition, the term "family ministry" has several meanings. In the larger context, it means "the act or process of giving aid or service to a group of people united by certain convictions or a common affiliation." This definition aptly describes the entire spiritual community and the need for all ministering servants to give aid to people of all ages and dimensions of life.
More specifically, family ministry is a ministry that is "designed or suitable for both children and adults." Thus, family ministry includes children's ministries, youth ministries, intergenerational community service programs, family-friendly worship services, spiritual education programs, and all other programs and services which help to preserve the institution of the family as the heart of the community of the Holy Spirit.
