For almost 50 years, The Summit Lighthouse has been publishing the Teachings of the Ascended Masters—the mystics and sages of East and West who graduated from earth’s schoolroom and attained union with God.

Mark L. Prophet founded The Summit Lighthouse in 1958 and was later joined by his wife Elizabeth Clare Prophet. These two Messengers delivered the teachings of the ascended masters in the tradition of the ancient prophets.

The Summit Lighthouse is dedicated to bringing these teachings to the world so that every seeker can discover the limitless power of their Inner Self. There are many ways to connect with these teachings: study courses, spiritual communities, international conferences, the use of the Science of the Spoken Word and powerful visualizations for world transformation.

Over the years the organization has evolved and now comprises the following separate yet overlapping associations:

• Keepers of the Flame Fraternity  — a worldwide, non-denominational association of seekers focused on independent study and world service both at home and in small groups.
• Summit University  — worldwide courses available through seminars, home study, and online courses.
• Summit University Press  — independent publisher of fine books on spirituality and personal growth, established in 1975.
• Church Universal and Triumphant  — formal church association with sacred rituals and inner temple teachings.
