Dear Friends of the Unborn,

The Summit Lighthouse and Church Universal and Triumphant is an organization that takes a clear stand on the rights of the unborn. Our messengers and the ascended masters have devoted much attention to defending life in the womb. This is also the focus of many of our prayers and decrees.

In recent months some of our members have asked for a formal stand or policy paper on this issue. We have asked our Spiritual Focus Committee to compile the teachings and write a brief position paper for this purpose.

The intent of this paper is simply to provide a brief summary of the teachings of the ascended masters on this subject for anyone to have at their fingertips. It is not intended as a counseling tool in crisis pregnancy. Mother Mary and other masters speak clearly about the need to forgive ourselves and to go forward in loving service. This paper is not written as a piece for people unfamiliar with the teachings of the ascended masters. It does not attempt to define terms or concepts familiar to our members.

An excellent brochure for helping women in crisis pregnancy or for public use has been created independently by some of our members. It is called What Women Need to Know About the Soul When Faced With Tough Decisions and can be ordered through our customer service department or on the website for the brochure www.soulchoice.org or by calling 1-888-TheSoul.

In the future, we hope to deliver a much longer paper that anyone can review on this topic, whether or not they are members of this organization.

The current paper does, however, state our position in one document, which may be useful to our membership.
